no refunds ? not like steam where you have an hour to play ? or a week ? This game is no odyssey. Odyssey one of the best games I ever played, this game is like a cheap free to play game. Animations are choppy and quick and the size of the people are tiny and not detailed or realistic. How can a game take two years to launch and go back ward? In a big way.

The ship feels like your driving a car and sailing a ship. The ship in Odyssey was awesome, this one is embarrassing. I wasted 60 on this crap.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@mr-dastone This is the only UBIsoft game I have wanted to refund. I don't think I will ever bother to play it properly, its just not fun. It's a depressing game if anything. I guess it might have been acceptable if Odyssey had never been made but as thing are it feels cheap and nasty when compared to the brilliant Odyssey.
Valhalla is one of those games I am going to have to force myself to play.

Ubisoft support page says they offer a 14 day refund. Still waiting for support to respond to my ticket but they have to refund me according their own policy.

This game is terrible. If this is next gen gaming, then count me out. I'm sticking with Deep Rock Galactic.

I think its the best Assasins Creed game to date personally. Thank you Ubisoft. I love the Skills system. I love the fact that you dont get tons of equipment loot that don't mean anything. When you get loot or armor it actually counts for something.

@dbgager clearly you have poor taste in games because this game is garbage compared to Odyssey.

I like both Odyssey and Valhalla. Both have a bit different kind of fun but both are fun to me.

I actually do like Odyssey a lot more, that is why I pre-ordered this game because I thought this game was suppose to be like Odyssey but it feels like they took away features instead. I got scammed by the hype for this game.

@mr-dastone Im not sure its even legal to deny people a refund, if the game is broken.
And now i think about it...

    - why would a game company need to have a "no refund" policy ? the only reasons i can think of is that

    • they know that the product they are selling are broken or bad.
    • they expect people to want a refund.

Why would anoyone deal with a company that have a no refund policy.
Would you buy a computer from a shop that had a "no refund" policy ??

    @war_dog76
Pretty sad those are the only reasons you can think of a game company would have a no refund policy (or limited as in Ubisoft case).

Got the game with an AMD part.
Thinking this would be at least as polished as Odyssey, I purchased the Season Pass.
Could barely play it past the 1st mission and get to my settlement.
Everything seems wrong, from weird graphics to buggy NPCs, but seeing that boat on the sea, the way it floated arcade style just made me say "STOP! You'd better watch grass grow than play this"
