@crazydonkey88 thanks, live support have moved it to an email ticket and I have stated that a refund will be the outcome if it is not fixed within a reasonable time.
@r1chyb I have managed to fix my issue today.
Installed a utility tool called DDU which gave me a fresh install of my nVidia graphics drivers and then moved my full game install folder after speaking to Ubisoft to an SSD from a HDD and the game has launched and is working.
This was all done after following all troubleshooting i.e. a fresh install of the Ubisoft Connect software too.
@crazydonkey88 Not sure what you mean by that. But I clicked "check for updates" and installed all of the updates that were available. I did it again this morning just to make sure but still nothing.
I fixed mine by installing it on a "normal" ssd, had it on an M.2 ssd before
