Controller input is causing some weirdness in-game for me.

    1) When the controller input is set to "hybrid" and the input selection changes from controller to keyboard/mouse (likely because I accidentally bumped my desk), the gameplay & audio freeze for just a second. It's minimal, but it's intrusive.

    2) Any time I'm in the Animus loading screen (fast travel, respawn, etc) and I have controls set to either exclusively the mouse/keyboard *or* controller input, the loading times take FOREVER. We're talking 2-3 minutes, at the very least. I'm still able to move around, but the game just won't load the environment. If I change the input to hybrid however, the loading times are super fast (..but then I have to endure the issue from #1 above, which is why I forced it to "controller" in the first place).

For reference, I've got a Ryzen 5 2600, 32 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAM, a GeForce 2080 Super, and my OS & game are installed on separate m.2 NVME drives so I don't think the load times or chop are system/resource related.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
