@ubi-swaggins I've tried all sorts dude, I'm Power level 180+ and still can't continue with Sons of Ragnar

This is horseshit. Looked forward to being able to progress again after today's patch and stull stuck. So disappointing, guess Ubisoft wants to challenge Bethesda for broken [censored] launches.

I’m done with this game until this issue is fixed. My fear is that the only remedy will be a patch that requires a restart of the whole game and I have spent too much time running around, gaining power, finding armor and weapons. Besides that, I feel like this particular quest is going to be even more ridiculous if I power up any more than the 124 I’m at now (kudos to those of you who have almost maxed out even without this quest...Here’s to hoping you don’t lose all that time and effort). I’m tired of piddling around just waiting. I’ll keep watching the thread for positive updates, but Valhalla is going back in the box, for now. I can guarantee one thing, though, this is the last Ubisoft game I purchase on Pre-order or Day 1. I will be waiting a few weeks and keeping my eyes on the discussion site before my next purchase. Until this issue is resolved, my friends, remember....Nothing Is True (especially the phrase “This game has gone gold”) and Everything Is Permitted (except for the Sons of Ragnar quest).

The going to and from norway trick did not work for me. I also tried changing quests at the alliance tabel few times. I tried this for about 45 minutes atleast if not a hour or more. I grew frustrated with this so i started swinging my axe at everone ubba the people at the pier and siggard. Finally i found somthing that did react. The last remaining horse that was at the front the black horse died. When i went to norway and back this happened. Im sorry its 15 minutes long but load times. The game crashed about 5 seconds after i hit share and saved this clip. Im on ps4.

Same here. I held out hope that it would be fixed with patch 1.0.4 but nope. It's crazy to me that they know there is a game halting issue and they release a patch without a fix for it. Guess they already got my money so they will get to it when they get to it.

Same here. Still can't speak to Ubba. Definitely won't be buying the next one upon release. They can't even get off their asses and fix this bug.

i started a new save to try to see if I could play the mission through. In the new play through, I made it to England and began setting up camp. Ran into a hiccup that was remedied with an early auto save, reading the letter about the berserker mission made it impossible to speak to randvi. I was able to accept the mission to go to repton and was able to successfully play through the mission. No glitch after speaking to ubba. The difference between my glitched play through and the successful was not raiding tamsworth prior to the mission. Tamsworth already being raided may be a culprit for other people but only one person replied early to my question about having raided it prior to beginning the sons of Ragnar quest line. Hopefully this information is able to help the process along for patching the mission. This was accomplished on the Xbox One version of the game.

Been stuck on this for like a week now. Trying to kill time by doing other things, world events and such. When I try to talk to ubba, there's a long boat on the path. Though the speak option isn't available anyway. There's also a few horses scattered about, on ship debris and on the bale of hay by ubba. I'm over 60 hours in and have unlocked many legendary animals and killed quite a few zealots. If this isn't fixed soon I'll be quite frustrated. I'm also able to see Sigurd but I can't talk to him either. The friendly teal dot doesn't show up above him when I use odin's vision as well. Where Sigurd is standing it's all dark and rainy. But when I cross the border when reptons name shows up, where ubba is standing, it's all sunny. I've tried exiting the animus, travelling to Norway, coming back and reselecting the mission all to no avail. Sometimes the questmarker shows up, sometimes not.

I am also unable to speak to Ubba. I tried travelling back to Norway and then England all that did was remove the boat from the road... When is this being addressed??

After speaking with ubba in sons of ragnar quest, nothing happens. Cannot progress through the story and I know many other people are having the same issue. You just released a patch but this was not fixed?? When is this going to be fixed? Beginning to think I wasted my money..

I'm stuck at the end of this quest, once you take the fortress with Ubba and Ivar.

I can't leave the fortress afterwards, after the new quest "Bartering" comes up. No fast travel of any kind, and the Animus won't let me out, neither by unplugging Layla from it nor trying to walk or ride away.
