I'm stuck on the opposite quest "Firing the Arrow". Stowe told me to get a coin in the market and that he would meet me at the church. Then he did this weird spasm thing and he stayed where he was. Afterwards, the quest was still in my log but the objective was gone. Nobody ever spawned with the coin for me to take.

I guess we have to wait for a patch now and try to finish other game parts...Have you tried a save before this mission became available?

@sunset_pig I'd suppose they must be working on a fix right now as it is a game-breaking issue in regards to progression thru the main story. Bugs like these at launch are part and parcel of gaming I have come to accept. I guess they can QA and QA looking for them ante launch but the only way they are going to be found in the long run is when we first game players trip them up and report them just post launch. I'd hasard a guess it might be patched in a few days or a few weeks given the current restrictive social and working climate 🐖🐖🐖🐖🐷

@prokeon so they just release a broken build, let the players test it and call it a AAA? I wonder, what was their QA division doing all the time, considering all other minor bugs?

@medved_nbg I could afford it after 17 hours, if I had 65 hours like you I wouldn't start the game again, it doesn't change the fact that it helped me

@medved_nbg This is a multi platform, multi generation AAA game. The engine is in it's third iteration yet this third proffering has come out at console launch as well as multi-platform launch. I had God of War and Ghost of Tsushima, both PS exclusives on launch. They were relatively bug free at launch and what peccadilloes they had at launch were patched almost immediately. I'm guessing here that given all of these ports of a game like this and its size and scope it must be a hell of alot of work to see its "final" completion version playable come launch day, especially in 2020 with a pandemic limiting how they can actually work, communicate, troubleshoot and problem-solve. It is interesting that come lauchday one buys the disc of any AAA game yet that very day there will be a patch, sometimes of tens of gb size. For myself I'm prepared to wait until this particular bug is debugged as long as it is done so I can continue my story. If on the other hand the only fix is to restart the game then I will be not so happy about this. Add to all of this time constraints developing the game in increments over years and expectations from many quarters that it be released in a timely manner then these factor into the equations in regards to why this must be happening. Remember Unity at launch? That was a shambles for many players (I had no issues with it luckily) but this shows that the problem is historical. Does it involve complacency on their part? Perhaps, though I believe the devs at Ubi only want to release a finely tuned product. This is their œuvre after all, their métier. I believe they have pride in what they put out. They are not going out to give us anything less on purpose. It is just the nature of the beast. There is far, far more that is positive about these games that negative. These are why we want their games on launch and will pay top dollar for them and why we might give them a little forbearance in being resigned to what might be buggy on launch. Or, we could be patient and wait a month or three and buy the game when it has a "smoother" runthru. 💙

I killed the target and now I can't continue the quest. She shows as dead on the order tab. I don't have a game save from before I killed her.

    Hello everyone,

Thank you for your continued reports of issues with this quest. We have forwarded the save files and videos we have so far received, and the devs are currently reviewing these. Any additional save files that we can collect (only possible for PC or PS4 players sadly) would be much appreciated, as so far, reproduction of the issue has been unsuccessful. Please refer to this guide on how to collect the files and submit them to us.

You can reach us in one of four ways if needing a support case to be created:

As soon as we hear more from the devs and can provide an update, we will do so. Thank you for your patience and understanding in the meantime.

@patsthlm I solved my issue by reloading an older save and assassinating her in 1 hit, straight assassination leading to cutscene progressed the quest

My Pilgrimage to St. Albanes is broken, no save files at all, because every "good" save is overided by now, but not by me. The door opened, Fulke just staying, no cutscene at all. What can i do? I raided the place, and i let the monk stay alive, but my fellow vikings immediate killed him after that (interesting...) pls help, cause i can't play the story. I'm playing on a Ps4
