The main quest “An Island of Eels” is bugged out. NONE of the Vikings will help me push down the door to get to the Templar inside. I’ve spent hours in this game and I don’t really want to do everything again. I’ve spent 3 hours restarting everything and nothing is working. I’ve killed all of the bad guys and all the Vikings do is stand there. I spent full price for this broken piece of [censored] game and I am extremely disappointed that this main mission is completely unplayable i would have preferred the game’s release to be pushed back by several months to actually paying for a game I cannot [censored] play. Please fix this ASAP. I will never again pre order another Ubisoft game for this specific reason. This glitch is very game breaking and I cannot return it because it is a digital copy.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I started a raid in the monastery during the 'An Island of Eels' quest but my crew are not willing to help me force open any of the doors of the monastery.

Hey there! The developers are aware of some issues with raids. As a workaround, try entering/exiting a different hut in the area and trying to open the doors again. Also, firing a friendly arrow into one of your men sometimes prompts them to respond correctly. Thank you for your patience while we work on a more permanent solution! 🙂

@insanegamer42 I found a solution. It looks like the issue for me was because I left Soma behind. I went back to the camp on the shore, found her, and she followed me to the main area and I was able to complete the quest.

I raided the monastery before the mission and once I get to the final door that Wigmund is hiding behind, my crew won’t help force open the door. I have tried all of the doors around the monastery, but none of them will open. Anytime I try to force the door open, Eivor is the only character pushing against the door and will just continually push against it.

I have also tried reloading from a previous save and fast traveling and coming back later. Neither of those options have worked
