Is it by design to have the side quests not be marked in your Quest tab? I have some side quests but not the ones I run into if this makes sense. None of them show up for me to follow or are marked, etc. Just want to know if this is a glitch or not? Hopefully you all know what I am talkig about. I can't really give examples as there's no names to these quests...

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I think they are designed that way. It kinda sucks.

@lordyeshua cool thanks. just nice to know I'm not the only one so it's probably by design then. kind of lame that it does that. would be nice if it was marked so i can go back to it later. kind of sucks i have to do it right then and there otherwise i will never remember where it is.

It's not a glitch, the symbols are marked on your map for you to find, though most can be completed in a single visit.

As @SofaJockey said and you can also use Odin's eye when close enough to show what kind of Mystery it is on the map.

Some side stories are not even marked on the map, like talking to people in the village, they can also give you 'short' stories that are more personal. But none are tracked, only the main quests in the quests log.
