After I destroyed the first barricade the cow moves to the second small section. When i moved the stone into that area it seemed to have clipped through some of the wooden planks which are on the ground. The cow refused to move through the open passage and after wiggling the stone it completely stopped moving altogether. I have tried rebooting the game as well as leaving the area to re load it but neither have worked. I cannot move the stone nor can it be reloaded to its original position. This has made the mystery impossible for me to complete. I also noticed when i first tried to move the stone i clipped into it and then back out and that happens one other time but I was never stuck.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Yes, I can confirm this. It is exactly like described here, stone cannot be moved, hence the quest cannot be completed.

Loaded a save game from earlier, now it works. Costed me 2 hours of gameplay. I suggest saving before doing this quest.

I've found that if you move the rock by pulling it in towards where the cow is then it has a bug and crashed.
If you start from inside where the cow is, break the fence and then push the rock out away from the cow it works and let you keep taking out the fences to let it out.
Hopefully you've done something recently just prior that prompted an auto save!
