Dear Ubisoft developers, There desperately needs to be a patch that enables players to select previous Armor styles while still keeping the upgraded stats.
This is already a feature when customizing your Jomsviking lieutenant's appearance.
Some of the upgraded armor looks cool but is very gaudy and overwhelming, it would be nice to select a more basic appearance for armor and weapons while keeping the same stats as per upgrade iteration.

    Any other thoughts friends?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Agreed. Why the "transmog" or whatever it was called in "odyssey" was removed is beyond me!??!! It was a great option and allowed for a great level of visual customisation for armour and weapons

Yeah. Another nice addition would be to customize colors, fabrics and materials of equipped armors. As much as I like the system with less gear and no more Diablo-like looting system, it'd be nice to have more customization options so players can refresh their character's look every now and then.

@petek Because that's what ubisoft do ! They take notes of all the good stuff in the previous titles and write them down on a piece of paper . Once they have all the great mechanics , ideas and gameplay from all the prequels , they screw the paper up , throw it in the bin and set the bin on fire and try to rebuild the whole thing but end up massively downgrading everything

My guess is they will add it later. It wasn't available in Odyssey at first either if I remember correctly. They added it after time.

Everyone should remember that this is the first version of Valhalla, and just like Odyssey had many changes over time, so will this game.

Personally, I like the way Odyssey evolved with time, so hopefully Valhalla will do the same.

agreed. I’ll play this like I did Odyssey. Main game now till completion and then come back after the DLC released. By then there were many updates, new free quests (forget what they called them in odyssey) and the DLC content so it played like a new game almost.
