    So ive decided to compile a little list of bugs ive encountered in this pre-alpha release Ubi sold for full price. I know there are already shitton of other post for every bug listed, but since devs obviously dont give a [censored] why should I. From gamebreaking to mostly annoying it is:

    • Stuck in Asgard: Stuck during the quest View Above All - after "closing" the door, nothing happens, only quest directions dissapear, i can try to close the door again, move 20 meters, return back, kill newly respawned Jotuns and again try to close the doors, or load old save and avoid this [censored]-fest untill devs actually decide to do something about it
    • FPS Drops: After 10-40 minutes of playing (apparently varies according to weather outside) FPS starts spiking down to 8-14. I tried pretty much everything to change it. Nothing helps. Currently the game takes about 30% of CPU, 45% of GPU and incredible 2Gb of ram while it slideshows itself. And no, no background apps., installed on M.2 disc and minimal requirements fullfiled with being more than half-way to recommended.
    • Aim freeze: During fights with bosses (and very rarely normal enemies), when I pull out my bow, game freezes mouse movement for 1-2 sec. I can run, shoot, but cannot aim. For a game that places weakspots on enemies backs so you have to dodge and quick-shot them before they turn around, this seems like huge oversight
    • Screenshot button randomly crashes the game: nuff said... really...
    • Remapping block broke fishing: For convenience ive remapped block/offhand weapon to Right mouse button, which completely bugged fishing. Fishing wants you to aim with RMB before throwing with LMB, but since my RMB is now offhand, instead of aiming my fishing line, i kill random civilian (or a flower). Also couldnt find fishing in Keymap so i cant even change it to different key.
    • Sudden mid-air death syndrome: During jump theres a chance you get stuck in midair. After flailing about for few sec (falling animation, while frozen in place), char just die without hitting the ground. Saw it happen to some NPCs and in more annoying parts it happened to Eivor.
    • Horse doesnt spawn on call: Sometimes it apparently takes a vacation and wont spawn when i call it. Its nowhere in sight and nowhere on minimap.
    • Weird camera placement during cutscenes: as much as i like avantgarde, i dont appreciate looking at ground texture from bellow during some cutscenes. Especially since the mentioned ground is about 20 meters away from where chars should be standing.
    • Game doesnt remember helmet visibility setting: I got a nice helmet i want to see it.
    • Patch notes are not aligned properly in in-game menu: Patch notes start about 60 cm right off a wall of my room. Problem is my monitor starts about 70 cm right off that wall. You should get those measurements right.
    • First treasure map has wrong directions: Well theoretically, if you go East from the Alrekstad, eventually you will arrive to the treasure location on a island WEST of it, but in reality theres too many invisible walls.
    • And many more... and these are just bugs I encountered myself


    Frankly when i see Ubi game release i expect it to be unfinished and buggy mess for at least 6 months, but this is too much. The game is almost unplayable, heavily unfinished, feels like Beta-testing is a swear word in Ubis dictionary, and i haevnt seen any sufficient response in any of the posts concerned. This is like Unity, Syndicate and Breakpoint together.

    I am having *extreme* problems with this! I haven't seen anyone adress it but I have this issue on PC and it's so bad. I tried turning off aim assist thinking that could be a culprit but the issue persists. As you say, most boss enemies require you to get behind them and shoot at a weak spot but by the time I regain control of my camera the weak spot is out of sight. How this one passed any QA is honestly beyond me.
