Hello there!
@OliviaParcker - I'm sorry to hear that you're unable to force the door open. This issue was marked as resolved in TU 1.1.1. As you're still affected by this issue following TU 1.2.1, could you please send us a video that shows the following:
We can then pass this video along to the development team for a closer look.
When you say that all of your autosaves are bugged, do you mean that they are from after you encountered this issue? Or are you encountering different trouble with your saves? We would like to ensure that you're able to successfully save your progress.
@mortimus27 - Thank you for sending us a new video. I've reopened the investigation into Basim and Sigurd not interacting with Eivor, and passed this video along so they can take a closer look.
@Boneman1976 - Thank you for sending us a video that shows you're unable to interact with Basim and Sigurd as well. I've passed this to the development team so they can investigate further.
Thanks

Thank you! You solved my bug, 120 hours of play were saved, and interest in the game appeared! incredible! a month has passed since I submitted my application and you have decided everything. Thank you!
@ubi-borealis customer support say to monitor this forum to know when this is fixed as they can’t be bothered to notify me when and if this ever gets fixed for me. This thread still says that the problem is resolved when it isn’t for all.
additional content is being released yet I can’t even play the game I have.
how long should I wait for this to be solved before I give up and delete the game.

@guest-ybuuDWHh - I'm glad to hear that you've been able to progress in "Brewing Rebellion!" Thanks for updating us
@Boneman1976 - I apologise for any confusion that has been caused. I've updated the investigation statuses in this post, so I hope that this provides you with some more clarity on the situation. We don't yet have an ETA for when the update will be released. Once we have a confirmed date, this will be shared within the forums.
Thanks!
@ubi-borealis is there a way to reset the quest (only that one)? Could this maybe fix it? I have done everything the game (story wise) let’s me do. I’m stuck in this 90 power mission and now I am up to ~400 power.... I want to see the story, I like the game.... I have even completed the river quests... I even wanted to get Mjolner but I must finish the game for that... even have Excalibur...
Hello there @mortimus27,
The development team have announced that they do not intend to introduce a "Restart / Reset" quest feature to the game. They have issue the following statement about this:
Due to the structure of quests within the game, a "reset/restart quest" feature is not feasible at this stage of development. While some quests and world events allow you to walk away or reload your save in order to reset them, this is not the case for every instance within Valhalla. We strongly recommend regularly adding manual saves, especially before and after pivotal moments, to ensure you have backup states to revert to if needed.
I understand that this may not be the answer you were hoping for, and apologise for any disappointment caused.
I'd like to provide an update regarding the ongoing investigations into "Brewing Rebellion." I'm happy to share that the development team have announced that they intend to resolve all of the following issues in a future update:
We don't yet have an ETA for when these fixes will be deployed to the game. As soon as we have more information to share regarding future updates, these will be posted within this thread and in the News & Announcements forum.
Thank you
I seem to be having a different problem than everyone else, but on the same quest. I'm able to get through the long house and to the village, but after I free everyone and kill all the enemies, I try bring the theigns to the little field area, but it say I need to be anonymous. I've looked literally everyone, even tried blowing my horn, searched for enemies elsewhere before killing them, I can't meditate, tried crouching in tall grass. Nothing is working. I'd appreciate some guidance on how to proceed, or if anyone else has a similar problem. The theigns I need to escort follow me, and the quest still says that I need to escort them, not rescue them but it still won't let me progress.
@eclipse101123 Thanks for contacting us, and I'm sorry you have not been able to proceed after freeing the prisoners! Prisoners may need to be revived, if they go down in combat. Have you double checked to see if any of the prisoners need to be revived before proceeding? Also, after freeing the prisoners and taking out the remaining enemies, there should be a teal objective marker that appears close to 200 meters away. Are you able to see that objective marker? If so, what happens when you arrive at that objective point?
At this point I've done absolutely EVERYTHING on my map. There is literally nothing left to do or collect on my map except for a piece of armor in Oxenefordscire that I assume is locked behind story progress that I still can not progress in. I even finished the Asgard and Jotunheim arcs and I'm max level and have been for a while now. I really do hope that the issue with Brewing Rebellion is fixed in the next update because I REALLY want to finish the story and the game in general. It's been months

@ubi-borealis Just wanted to say thanks and that the issue has now been resolved for me. I think it took longer than it should have considering how many people it affected but at least we got there in the end.
Hello @boneman1976,
Thank you for the update! We're glad that the issue has been resolved for you
Happy gaming and if you have any additional questions, please let us know!
So just started the game again. I loaded into this quest during the escort, not thinking I then fast traveled. Changed my tattoos ect lol. Then tried to pick up the quest. It is now stuck where they walk completely without me toward the Oxenforda dock. They all stop by the dock. Nothing happens. The quest won't end and I can do nothing to register them as saved. I have no idea what to do. I already saved over the file so my game is essentially just broken now. Tried for an hour and no fast traveling, dying ect works. Cool fix lol

Okay so when i follow the npcs everything is fine but then sigurd and basim randomly just stops and do nothing and won't go over a certain point in the path way they just stop. They do go back but they don't go towards the quest objective at some point in the path. What can i do??
I have an issue with the quest called brewing rebellion while going to the objective sigurd and basim bug and stop following at a certain point in the path way i tried walking back and tried doing it again it doesn't work.
