Same bug please fix it

I've finished whole game and all quests except "Viking for hire" as there are just two daily and one weekly targets, now I am unable to finish it as Reda is not interactable.
Played on XSX.

From what I read through this thread, it looks to me it is related to the children/dog sidequest as there are no children around him now, so he can't tell them he story. I also think I never let him finish it.

I'm having the exact same issue here, it was working but all of a sudden he stopped interacting, while the other 1000 Eye are working.

If you see him telling stories to the kids, wait an listen (there is a prompt for that) and you can talk to Reda when he's done.

After getting the kids back & letting him waffle on for an age I was able to interact with him again once I stood by the tent pole, then said some thing, every one walked off. So its great I can talk to him, now the issue is he has nothing at all for sale!

@sofajockey This irritates me greatly, I usually forget to check his shop for both quests and items so when I do check I'm usually in a hurry. I understand that's partly my own fault however his stories can be long.

I'm playing on the PS4 Pro. I can interact with Reda again after handing the codex's to Hytham, but Reda's Shop is now empty, the daily and weekly selections show as 'This section is empty".

I finally saved enough opal after spending the first 100 into the Valkyrie Braces thinking I would earn more with daily contracts in no time and then it gave an error when I tried to buy the weekly shield that it was unable to connect to the the Ubisoft servers and now the shop appears empty when I interact with Reda at the settlement and who knows then that shied will be back on rotation.

I'm having a problem with Reda where after I hold X to buy I get an online service error. I know I'm connected to the internet and connected to ubisoft so I don't know what the problem is.

Anyway to fix this? since I can't see any daily quest I can't really finish my quest for Viking for Hire and that quest is just bothering me at this point since its been sitting in my quest for a while now

im having the same issue I’ve been farming to get the scimitar and I have probably missed out it’s been down over 4 hours for me

The solution to the issue is to listen to Reda while he is telling a story to the three kids, after that he will interact as normal. It turned out to be not an issue.

@nonfornon That was not available, for the duration of not being able to talk to reda, the children had also vanished, the story was not triggering. I was only able to get reda to talk again by handing in the codex pages to hytham and then talking to reda regarding those, but after that, reda's shop was then empty.

@sempophai Same here on PC. Never encountered Reda's bug, nevertheless yesterday his store was suddenly empty. Checked today and it is still empty. They broke something server side.

@shepherd-n7 yeah , same I'm trying to grind some opal while doing the Viking for Hire Quest so I can buy some items in the shop but after doing 5 contracts daily quest won't reset anymore lol
