Moved Enemy health needs to scale2 Likes/1 Replies/46 ViewsOriginal poster lovedale 9 posts
It took me a long time (40h) until I realised enemy hp doesn't scale in this game with the protagonist's power level. Not sure why the devs thought it was a bad idea to scale. Not that I want this game to be like Odyssey where tons of enemies were tanky, but from the start to the end of the game, the TTK or damage relative to an enemy's HP should be roughly the same when gear is adequately upgraded at any power level, so that it will feel like its necessary to upgrade the gear because there is a need to catch up. With a adequately upgraded dane axe, I'm just ripping thru enemies easily, which shouldnt be the case because it was harder to kill enemies near the beginning of the game. Please consider enemy HP scaling, because it doesn't make equipment upgrading necessary anymore. Just to give another example, when I was still in Norway in the story, hitting weak points with the bow felt really important (and thus made hitting weak points enjoyable) to kill enemies since the stun attack does devastating damage compared to normal attacks, but now I can button mash to kill most enemies, making stun attacks almost useless (except for tougher enemies).
