I am just curious as to how many enemies/locations can be marked on the map. The most I seem to be able to do is 3.

In the more recent games (Odyssey/Origins) you could definitely mark more than that. I know this for a fact as I personally have marked upwards of 20 in Odyssey.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

3 tracked world points, doesn't matter what the world points are. This makes tracking guards impossible unless you unlock the mark all when crouching, but this is a limited distance and does not mark as far as archers can see. No previous AC title had a guard marking limit as you NEED to mark guards to use stealth to it's fullest.

@jandraelune Thanks for the comment, and it's nice to know I was right. When I said I had marked enemies in other games it was using the bird, so you could mark all of the guards in a fort, or many POI in an area.

@jandraelune Afaik eagle vision had a limit in previous games. The markers with eagle had no limits in Origins/Odyssey afaik.

I don't like Origins/Odyssey marking enemies with the eagle. I like eagle vision / odins sight waaaay more. It just gives you a slight edge and represents your better senses. By marking every enemy you basically become undetectable and absolutely imbalanced imo. Especially the skill with marking enemies while crouching is pretty awesome 🙂

@souldrinkerlp I can understand how you feel about it. I usually use the raven to mark ore or leather nodes, so being able to mark more than 3 would be helpful, but I have adjusted.
