I've been holding off upgrading gear in hopes of finding more options, but so far it's just finding just a couple of one with mostly just a change in stance type. But the frustrating thing is the change in bonuses without having a carry over of the same bonuses through the different stances. It's like they were going to go with having more gear in the world to find/buy/craft, but dropped that idea a quarter the way through.

So players are stuck here in limbo thinking there is more gear out there to find because of the change in bonuses, but at the same time hit with the scarcity of finding new gear. Leaving players wondering if they should spend resources on upgrading or wait to find gear to replace what they have.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Honestly, I've only found two gear sets that look halfway decent while having stats I like. Though I wish I could un-upgrade them since the mythical look is bad imo. I prefer the lesser versions appearance wise since they don't have that "assassin" look on the bottom of the outfit. In any case, yes, I agree. After I found the Brigandine and Galloglach sets I stopped caring for finding anything else since they look like more traditional Assassin outfits (which I'm not a fan of, not in this era/setting at least).

It's better to find a gear set or two that you like and upgrade them, and then just focus on upgrading weapons you use the most and upgrade them, otherwise you'll just be wasting your ingots, iron and leather.
