    i don't know if i just had really bad luck but this game is a mess of bugs, quests break as many of you know, freezings on random locations i was fishing in a side quest then she got stuck standing on a pole but was standing on the deck as if she was standing on a pole, a story quest that literally kept repeating over and over again a a guy gets killed another guy says kill them kill them paint the walls with their blood or something then when you are ready for the fight everyone including the person that was killed casually walks back to their places until you start the dialog again and the cutscene starts over, it was quite hilarious i walked over to the guy that said kill them in the cutscene and he said is it not clear that i do not wish to speak to you, i have a video of it on youtube, two times in the game have i seen floating trees as if the developers forgot to attach them to the ground, same bug i experienced in a tree mod for gta v, unity worked with less bugs on releaseday for me

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @zzcool500 I agree it's a broken mess.

    I think Unity was worse, but it's been the most buggy game since them, certainly.

    No bugs that have stopped my progression (granting a few reloaded saves when I hit a glitch).

    Unity is my favorite AC game. 😊

    I'll be forever grateful not buying it at launch as I have seen so much hate for it over the years.

    Valhalla is the only AC game I bought at launch and I stopped playing it for now. I don't want to hate it - which I will - if I continued playing it in this bug infested, broken state. Why Ubi rushed to release it without testing it escapes me. It's clearly not a finished, playable game.

    @missm16 The game is perfectly playable (nothing has prevented me completing any quests or side-content, given a little effort) but it is a bit rough.

    I would expect the end of November patch to deal with a good portion of the issues.

    I'm happy to hear you haven't experienced any major bugs and are able to play - and more importantly - enjoy playing it. As for me, I quit playing on my second restart (playing offline that time to attempt fixing some of the bugs I experienced the first time) when a NPC quest giver got stuck on top of a chair and I couldn't talk to him no matter what I did to complete the quest. 😑

    So yeah... I gave up for now. I will pick it back up when at least the game breaking bugs that prevent progression and completion are fixed (I don't mind funny at best, mildly annoying at worst, minor bugs as I expect them in large games).

    I hope you're right in the next patch fixing most of the major bugs but personally, I'm ok with waiting for however long Ubi takes. I'm a little exited to see if Valhalla will be the one to dethrone Unity for me haha

    Yep, it's certainly playable and I kinda like it but the amount of bugs and the lack of polish is just....well....a shame. I'm guessing they rushed to release it before a few other notable titles were/ will be released. Hopefully the reason they're taking their sweet time with the patches is because there's just so much fixing that needs to be done. We'll see! I'm holding off on playing it any further as well until they get their house in order with this game.
