    Can we PLEASE get a patch to show specs for when you purchase weapons from merchants so you know what you're buying? As well as schematics and tattoo previews. I'm not buying anything until I know what I'm actually getting.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Yeah, I find the UI to be sloppy and unclear too. Even the character stats are vague and not explained well in how they work. Like, why are there so many similar redundant stats (Attack power, Melee damage, Light damage, Heavy damage, etc) How do all the calculations work to determine the final damage dealt? And why are the values for Crit chance so weird? I have over a 100 and I'm still not critting on every hit. How am I supposed to read that if it doesn't show the percentage? And is there some sort of cap to how high I can go or am I just wasting points increasing that value? Because the only thing I can work with atm is with "the higher the better" approach, and that's about it.

    Well light dmg and heavy dmg is this: light = normal attack, heavy = hold sprint + normal attack.
    Melee dmg is anything done with hand minus assassin.
    Ranged is anything done at range, this includes abilities (chain assassin with thrown axe) that somehow proc your equiped bows own proc o.O ???
    Assassin dmg = hidden blade kills only.
    Critical is on everything.

    @daegan87 A good point.

    I would particularly like to know what I'm getting from Reda.

    @sofajockey Already know what your getting from Reda, it's 100% from the Uplay store accessed from in game.

    @jandraelune An excellent point, I'd forgotten about that. 😊

    Yea, I know what the stats mean. It's the values and calculations that are not clear. If say I have a 120 crit chance, how am I supposed to work out the percentage from that exactly? Because it's pretty clear that a 100 crit chance value does not equal 100%. I've played many rpgs in my time, and this is the first I've played that the stats don't make sense.

    I'm more talking about when you go to buy tattoos and things. It has the name but nothing of what it looks like. Also if you buy a weapon from a merchant it has the name but no specs.

    @daegan87 It's a little clunky, but you could save before shopping and test (buy) the items. Reloading if you're not interested.

    (that doesn't work for Reda of course)
