  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The most important question is what are going to do now?
In Odyssey, at the end of the main story quests, the game basically started: 1600 more skills to unlock, hundreds of side quests, newgame+, ... but here in Valhalla, ... nothing?
So tell me, you're going to play another game, or you're doing what Ubisoft expects to do and continue playing the game for all the fantastic features they made us, and all the awesome content they promised us. Let me see... orlog! Ah yes, you can play orlog. 3-6 hours of orlog a day, that's the endgame we were waiting from Valhalla!

@torfinr Orlog might be fun if there were any viable strategy beyond hording tokens, playing thieving fingers over anything else, and spamming your busted God favours

@torfinr To be fair NG+ in Oddyssey came way after the release of the game (2 months i believe) but i see your point. Instead of taking all the QoL changes Oddyssey had and copy pasting them in Valhalla they completely scrapped everything.

    So yeah...no end-game in valhalla.

@geoage095 They could implement weekly or monthly/bi-monthly raids where we could all join our Eivors to assault a stronghold and receive some quality loot (the Bi-monthly could include new armor or skins and the weekly could include upgrade materials). This would keep the game alive and provide some useful endgame content, but first Ubisoft must change their mindset from "What can the players do for us?" to "What can we do to keep players interested?".

@t-h-u-d-d Yeah...that's not gonna happen.Ubisoft will rather put the gear in microtransaction than put it behind raids or quests. It's Ubisoft we are talking about here!

@geoage095 Yeah, you're right. Just some wishful thinking on my part.
