Hello everyone!
I'm very happy to return to the thread to confirm that TU 1.1.1 - releasing today - contains a fix for this issue with the Mari Lwyd disguise. Once the patch has been fully deployed, and you have fully-updated your game to the latest version, you should find that you are (finally!) able to remove the disguise when outside of Glowecestrescire, and should no longer see it stuck over your worn armour.
If exploring Glowecestrescire or completing the arc, please do be aware that as we mentioned before, the disguise will always involve the Mari Lwyd cloak and mask as these are part of the themed costume you wear as part of the Samhain festival in the region. Once you leave Glowecestrescire, toggling your disguise should remove the Mari Lwyd cloak and mask.
I would like to thank you all again for the information and evidence provided throughout the developers' investigation into this issue; it was integral to getting this issue resolved, and was extremely useful to refer to. I hope that after today's patch, there'll be no further issues, but should any arise, you are of course welcome to get in touch with me here in the thread and I'll reply as soon as I am able.Official Response -
After being given the skull (trick or treat) cloak, after the arc was complete, my default set cloak wont return !
How do I take it off !? -
SOLVED : Game restart required....
Does every bug require a restart ??? -
After doing the glowecestrescire alliance arc the Mari lwyd cloak that is automatically equipped to eivor for the quests is now permanently on eivor, changing cloaks does nothing and I am now stuck with that Mari lwyd cloak on eivor

@lupuswolf65 Having the same problem too, it works to restart the game but the cloak comes back again after a few moments (most likely from fast travelling too much)
-
i got the problem too, but noting seems to help, not even restarting the game... -_-

Hi all, sorry to hear you have experienced this in game, if possible could you provide an image showing this or a short video clip of how this occurs in game.?

@ubi-litten Hi!
I think the cloak comes back when you return to Glowecestre (possibly Glowecestrescire as a whole) and then disappears when you leave the area, like going back to Ravensthorpe because it was back again when I fast traveled there again and the cloak was back but when I fast traveled back to Ravensthorpe it was gone and fixed -

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
