i cant manual save, it stopped auto saving, and i cant fast travel

@kooky_krix Try to interact with many things in your camp, some of it will work i am sure. Try sleep, try to change zone which you are gonna attack, sleep again. For everyone is different which will work.

I'm unable to save or leave area or fast travel. I completed the quest Tamworth Forest.. Now I need to regroup with sons of ragnar but I can't travel there because area is not available. Neither can I leave the Tamworth Fortress or fast travel so I'm stuck. I tried returning to older save but still with the same issue. This happened after patch 1.04

I have the same issue but I have an ingame event that triggers it for me:

When I load up an old savegame I can fast travel and even make a new savegame.

Once I talk to ANY character that has dialog options (and only those!) I can no longer save or fast travel. For me this 100% reproducible.

What is going on I am in the game and can not fast travel anymore. Nothing I do is working I have even uninstalled the game and then reinstalled it. Did a mission and still not working. IM ABOUT TO GET MY MONEY BACK $120 WASTED ON THIS GLITCH INFESTED GAME.

Interesting. I do have one save from before when i waa still in gloucestercire or however its spelled. But im gonna lose a ton of progress. So i dont want to do that. Im gonna sit tight and hope a fix comes soon. I cleared a bunch of stuff on my way to sons of ragnar mission. Did not take to the waters.. oh no, i am an adventurer so i hiked it and hoofed it there. I really hope this gets fixed like soon. Contrary to anything i said in prior posts i really was enjoying this game 100% and honestly havnt been sucked into a game like this since the witcher. That really says something. So you can imagine my level of frustration eapecially considering i spent my last two days of vacation from work just to be home and play this game and then this happens. So its not just the game. There are a lot of factors weighing in on how irritated i am. Anyway. My last save says im at just over 37hrs. Lol.

I played yesterday and noticed that saving not work at all. I am online, not offline. And can´t use teleport. I think this is bug.

I have an x box one and have played regularly.

It would appear that my game cannot or will not save. I am stuck in oxenefordscire and cannot proceed. I have tried accomplishing other tasks, allowing myself to die, synchronizing in another location and completing the current mission. However, nothing will allow me to save. I have also downloaded the latest patch.

@cptpuffercakes same issue here on ps4, it appears to be from the newest update. I didn't realize it and lost about 12 hours of progress. I'd almost warn people not to play at all until a new patch comes out, otherwise you will lose progress.

Ever since I downloaded the latest title update on PC, I cannot fast travel or save. All locations just say 'Fast Travel Unavailable' and the Save button just says I cannot save. I've tried doing both of these at various points during game play. I wasn't in a restricted area where this normally wouldn't be allowed. I was in the middle of a city not on a timed or escort event. It seems like auto save may still be happening after major quest completion but I can't manually save which I always do before quitting the game so I've lost some game play before I quit to desktop. Anyone else having this issue? This is basically unplayable for me until it's fixed.

I got the same problem on PS5 since the new update.

what worked for me was 1. go to asgard save. 2. go to bed. 3. meditate. 4. talk to petra--in that order. maybe petra was the only thing i needed. Seems to be different for a few ppl. Hope this helps someone. Literally just dealt with this today, lost about 4 hrs of gameplay because the game ALSO wasnt autosaving at any time. Then i sat idle for football and it crashed, sending me back to where the og bug started for me.

i cant load my save files on ps5. everything was fine before 1.04

there is a new bug now happening with me i am unable to progress after doing any small mission i am unable to progress even i can't fast travel like from last 2 days i played for 2hours but i was unable to save even Auto save does nothing so after playing for 2 days for 2 hours when i open my game today 30t Nov i was back to the same game progress of 25th Nov, after the new update this is happening to me because of which i was lost 7 days of game play progress + skills points and i upgraded my weapons, i definitely need to be reimbursed for the same , still i can't play because of this bug , plz do something, unable to play since the new update .i already raised acompplain on 25th Nov but still no reply

@kuzinga Same. Cannot manually save and there is no autosave since the patch.

Im having some major saving issues on my PS4. I have lost 4-5 hours of game play for at least 3 times now. The game doesn't autosave anymore. I can see the symbol in the bottom right corner but when I die I get thrown back to a mission I completed 4-5 hours ago. And since then I completed other missions, gathered a lot of stuff and completed mysteries etc. And all those things are lost when I get spawned again.
And I can't even save manually. It just says "can't save the game right now" when I move the curser over "save" in the paus-menu.
And if I go into the load menu I can see the latest autosave was today at 11.49 in Linconscire. And when I load that save my game is thrown back to that mission in London instead. I mean [censored]?
Its useless to keep on playing until it get fixed.
