    Loaded game today, went up to npc's and quest completed. Thanx a lot for fixing it. This really put me off the game because I love it so much but all good now. Will get back into it and purchase dlc as well. Thanx again 🙂

    Hey there @qurwanafecie - welcome to Discussions! I am sorry to hear that you are struggling to complete the "Deviled Water" world event due to the boat/NPC being missing.

    Could you please provide a video showing that this issue persists for you on the latest title update (you can display the version you have installed by opening the options menu in-game in your video), as well as ensuring that you have a recent save file available in the cloud should the development team need to review it? I can then forward both resources to the development team for them to look at, to verify that this issue is still occurring on TU 1.4.0.

    Hello there!

    I apologise for the delayed response and for the double post. I'd like to reach out to you all with an update from the investigation into this issue with "Deviled Water." The development team will be deploying a fix for this issue in a future update! We don't yet have a confirmed ETA for when this update will be released to the game. As soon as we have more confirmed information, we will let you know within this thread.

    Additionally, any future updates will also be published within the News & Announcements forum via patch notes, so please keep an eye out for these.

    You can always record it through the PS5 Share button and upload it to YouTube, and share the link from your video.

    Thanks for helping out with recording video, @Cptn__Avery! If you play on PlayStation, a great and easy way to capture footage is to use the PS Share button and to upload it to the sharing platform of your choice.

    If anyone needs help with capturing and sharing videos, please don't hesitate to let us know and we'll do our best to assist you. Please let us know which platform you're trying to capture footage from, as this will affect what tools may be available to you to use.

    Hello there,

    After further investigation into the reports that were shared with us following the release of TU 1.5.0, it has been discovered that these reports were different issues than the one being investigated in this thread ("Deviled Water" not registering as complete after the NPC enters the water). We will now be marking this thread as resolved again, as we have had no new reports of this issue persisting in-game.

    If you are encountering a different issue in "Deviled Water" that is preventing you from completing this World Event, then I recommend you check our out additional Megathread for this World Event. There is a detailed update within that thread about the currently ongoing investigations with this side quest, as well as the status of the ongoing investigations.

    As we have had no reports of "Deviled Water" not completing after the NPC enters the water following the release of TU 1.5.0, we will now be locking this thread.

    If you encounter any trouble in "Deviled Water" with the World Event completing after the NPC enters the water, please feel welcome to create a new thread and our team will investigate further. When creating a new thread, please ensure that you include a video of the issue you've encountered, as this is helpful for further investigation.

    If you are encountering trouble in "Deviled Water" due to the NPC not being at the docks, or due to being unable to interact the the NPC, then please can you check our our dedicated Megathread for these issues.
