I'm playing "Smashing the Compass" and admit I'm in over my head. I can get all the way to the end of this task when I realize I need skills I don't have yet to kill the target. To make matters worse, I can't breakout of the game. Further, despite Ubisoft saying you can can change difficulty at any time this is NOT true as the game will not allow me to lower the difficulty level nor break out of the game.

I spent over four hours yesterday just playing "Smashing the Compass" (over and over again) and I'm beyond frustrated (to put it mildly.) Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Okay, I solved the problem. When I logged in this morning, I was able to delete the "Smashing the Compass" saves. This will allow me to focus on my skills so I'm prepared for the encounter.
