  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Try this:

    1. Turn on the photo mode for a moment. After leaving the photo mode, the mask should be removed.
    2. Traveling without a hood on. Eivor only wears the mask if he is wearing a hood.
    3. Leave the Glowecestrescire region. The main character uses the mask to avoid detection. As he doesn't need it in other places, he will not use it. He won't put the mask on again until he returns to Glowecestre.

@michi0123 I had the same problem. For what ever reason I traveled to Norway and when I returned to England it enabled me to be able to switch capes. I'm not sure if that actually worked or it was just coincidence, but give it a try.

For me I had to complete the whole story arc.

Once I got back and spoke to Randvi, I was able to remove the disguise.

@bob__gnarly Mine wouldn't go away even after I visited Randvi. I was rather ticked because I learned from another poster I could remove the cape all together and this thing was screwing that up. When I went to Norway it defaulted to my choices, but when I got back to England the cape came back. Out of spite I did the action to remove the cape and that was when it reverted to my choices.

Even after beating the story whenever I teleport anywhere inside Glowecestrescire I spawn with the halloween mask, stepping out of the region removes the mask all you have to do is toggle your hood on/off and you should have your cloak back on.

I believe they did it this way to avoid complains of players not being able to complete the halloween/druid missions but here between us they should've just given us the item (even without any stats) so we can switch as we please from our inventory. I actually like the mask for aesthetics, it's a shame.

PS: These forums keeps getting worse, autocorrect deletes whole paragraphs..
