Just here to report that this happened to me as well after 60 hours of playtime. There's no way I'm replaying the game up to this point just for a chance that I might not get the bug again.
I don't know what we're supposed to report here but I finished the first part of the Asgard quest line, and did not go to Vinland before pledging to Cent.
Wow they got bannend. Should people be happy about it. You bought a game and it’s broken. Ubisoft is to blame not the angry players. And I know customer service is not to blame. But if you can check people on you site you can answer some questions don’t you think.
Hello all,
Following the release of our Dev Blog, I would like to reach out to you with some updates regarding "A Brewing Storm." We can now confirm that a fix for this quest will be released with our next Title Update, which is due to be deployed next week.

@Renz832017 & @victoruchiha82 - Any compensation is at the decision of the Assassin's Creed: Valhalla team. Player Support have no influence in this decision. If compensation is offered to players, this news will be communicated on our official platforms or via in-game notifications.
Thank you all
@Ubi-Borealis How nice to see you again. Let us hope the patch truly fixes the Brewing Storm bug.
Now don't tell us we might encounter another bug in "Pigs of Phrophecy"...
Also, we all understand there are rules... thing is we are too angry and disappointed so it is a tad bit difficult to follow the rules. So do what you must do.
You say "We may understand you may be frustrated". Unless you faced a bug that breaks a game and a fix is released almost 5 months later (remains to be checked if it fixes the bug) you don't know how we feel.
Also, just out curiosity... since when [censored] is profanity?
@ubi-borealis Great news. Better extremely late than never.. Although looking at the phrasing it seems that only some instances are being fixed. Is there any insight on how many ways this roadblock was attained? And if you have any information on what transparency the developers are going to shed light on since coming forward with the developer diary? I do realize mods are the go between but if you have any insight it would be quite helpful. Thank you.
Looks like the beta testing is finally coming to an end. So 6 months to year seems to be the assassins creed sweet spot.
Looks like they are getting a little sensitive - received my first warning so you know that banned button has a finger wavering over it..... See you all in the Pig of Prophecy megathread next week. Unless they ban me first.
@maxxsinner So I noticed there was no mention of "A Brewing Storm" in their Dev Blog Update. So I guess we can assume that it will not be included in their upcoming big update?
@epicaar Yes, the wording makes it likely that some of us won't benefit from the solution. I'm afraid it might depend on when you have saved the game, i.e. whether (1) you have a save game from before pledging to Cent (which I don't), or (2) you have a save game after completing Cent but before reporting to Randvi (which I also don't), or (3) you have a save game after reporting to Randvi but before going to bed (which I do), or (4) you only have a save game after waking up to a dark and stormy Ravensthorpe and being unable to interact with anyone. I do hope the solution they found covers the first three instances (i.e. after you go to bed the cut-scene with Dag triggers), while I think a solution for the fourth case (you already woke up and Dag was not there to fight you) might be more tricky.
I am unable to complete the quest
no quest object and Dag is not appearing I hope I am not going to wait 3 or 6 months like I have seen most of players comments
me too. i can't continue the mission brewing storm, because Dag never appear and i can't use any of rapid trip, I can only trip with my horse relsoving mysteries or discovering treasure . And the storm is everywhere and never stopping. I can't do any mission anymore.

@feudo88 There's an update coming out next which SUPPOSEDLY will fix the bug. No need to cross our fingers... after all Ubisoft is behind the game... if the fix works we can thank them for working so hard for almost 5 months for fixing a breaking game bug.
The same problem at me , i see now why i must to let it go ubisoft
first time i see a lot of bugs , crashing and more now is unable to pass my story 80 hours playn and stop on Brewing Storm !
afther 6 months this game was relased how is possibile to have this huge issue and no fixed ! what i m reading to start again the game from beggining i think is outrageous
