    PLATFORM: PS4 Slim
    GAME VERSION: 1.0.4

    Hello,

    My Assassin's Creed Valhalla game continuously crashes about every 5 minutes on PS4. I didn't have this many crashes until the latest patch. After a lot of troubleshooting, I think I have narrowed the problem down to Cloud Saves. 

    I have done every method of the troubleshooting that was recommended that I could think of, including:

    • Power Cycles
    • Firmware and software updates
    • Deleting save files on local and external discs
    • Unplugging External drive and moving game and saves to Local PS4 drive
    • Uninstalling the game and reinstalling it
    • Booting in Safe Mode to Rebuild Database
    • Re-Initializing my PS4


    Also, please take no offense, but I've dealt with many customer support reps on various games, and I'd just like your techs to understand that I am not computer or console illiterate. I very much know my way around both, and how to do troubleshooting. So please do not have me do all of the troubleshooting tips again, and please don't make me repeat myself over and over to different representatives. I understand that certain bugs are difficult to recreate, and that they take time to solve.

    My only question here is: Is there a way to disable Ubisoft Cloud saves on Playstation 4? And if so, how can I do that?

    I'm hoping for a workaround until you guys can get a patch out. I do love the game, it's beautiful. I just want to play it.

    Please let me know, as I am unable to play the game I spent over $150 dollars on.

    Same here it doesn't happen alot thank god... but it happens almost after every story completion, i've already send like 10 reports so far... please ubisoft look at the stability for ps4...

    @azraelacid im getting them a least once if not twice daily and I have tried the same fixes you have also yesterday I switched to SSD hoping that would fix it, 30 minutes in I got the blue screen again. They need to patch this along with all the other glitches on this half finished game they released to early

    @azraelacid getting this as well yesterday and today 3 crashes within 10-15mins of beginning the game. Bluescreens out and no way to avoid it, game is just sitting useless until it’s fixed. A real waste

    Hey all,

    I apologise this thread never got a reply from us previously, sometimes some get missed but we try to reply to all of them.

    Please try the troubleshooting found here, and I would also suggest to have the game installed on the main PS4 HDD rather than an external drive, and also disconnecting any external drives if you have one connected whilst playing.

    @ubi-froggard it’s happened me across multiple days, I chose not to play the game today as I didn’t want to go through the minutes of loading it up just to start my next mission and get cut off AGAIN for a 3rd day in a row.
    I’ll try it later on today, hoping for the best but prepared in all likelihood for the same thing to happen 🤷🏻♂🤞🏼🤞🏼, because crossing my fingers seems about as useful as generic troubleshooting steps.

    Just checking on this, no worries if you haven't played since posting this just letting you know we haven't forgotten about this. Have you continued to experience crashes since if you have had a chance to play?

    @ubi-orion 3 crashes in 20 minutes of gameplay on ps4, textures are low resolution almost everytime after you use your raven....right now, if you ask me, i would really want my money back for this unfinished game!!!

    @ubi-orion I finally retried the game for the 1st time since the 6.11 PS4 update, and all seems well, no bluescreens 👍🏼
