Really sad that ubisoft dopesn't give a [censored] about their customers and their experience. Why have a broken release that isn't even launching on the best hardware money can buy!
    Please help !

@the_unicorn69 I know mate, they don't give a fk. It's clear that the only thing they care about is more and more money by hook or crook

NON-English Windows does not like the Apostroph in the Name.

Try Rename the Game-Directory and move it to C:\Drive.

C:/Assassin's Creed Valhalla/ doesn not launch
    C:/ACV launches

This fix the Issue for me.

BTW ... D:\Games\ACV does not launch too.

    Fix for me.

Non-English-Windows does not like the Apostroph in Directory-Name. And Game has to be on C:\Drive

C:/Assassin's Creed Valhalla/ does not launch
    c:/AVC launch
    d:/Games/AVC does not launch

    Beginners-Bug?

My problem came down to my antivirus blocking the process wrongly. Check and or disable your antivirus to see if it helps anyone reading this. You have to do it through msconfig to really see if disabling it helps. If it does help uninstall it and get something else like I did.
