Why is this a thing ? I gotta say it has bothered me since the beginning, ive played the game for over 170+ hrs and i plan on playing at least 100hrs more as ive with other entries in the franchise but this needs to be fixed, either activate finishers for heavy attacks or reduce the ragdolling(?) greatly and if you decide to tweak the "force" at least make the enemies fly in the right direction. This doesnt feel like "Eivor feels very strong rather than magical", feels ridiculous.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I agree, it's extremely annoying when you have to CHASE your enemy down after hitting them, giving them time to recover!! It would be one thing if knocking them back occurred on the final strike, but it doesn't... so you knock them back then have to chase them down only to have them counter your followup attack or hit you with an attack.

I think this kind of stuff makes it pretty clear that the devs DO NOT play their own game... 'developing it' doesn't count. Playing the entire game for HOURS on a regular basis counts as 'playing'... and if they did, these annoying things would be quickly removed or changed.

@adarklore I forgot to also mention that even LIGHT attacks will knock enemies backwards quite a distance, especially with spears. I hate it when getting in multiple hits and just before the final blow, they get knocked way out of range. Or even the 'slow motion' from dodging, you find your own character not stopping very quickly and then you have to RUN back to the enemy so as to get a few hits in before the slow motion effect wears off. IMO, the slow-mo should automatically STOP your character's forward momentum.
