So far I've done the cow mission and the beer mission, both have bugged out on me. I was able to resolve the cow mission by ignoring the map marker and returning to Raventhorpe but the beer one seems perma broken. The same thing has happened for both missions: when I almost complete them (when I slay the last cow / picked up the barrel of beer) the quest marker appears miles away under the map. The problem with the beer quest is there is no mesh for the barrel, so you are carrying an invisible game object and if you drop it to deal with any mobs it is impossible to find again lol, it doesn't appear by pressing V either.

Here is a screenshot of where the map marker shifts towards the end of both missions:

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I've fixed it by reloading an earlier save, the barrel now has a mesh so I can still complete the quest but the quest marker is still in that odd place on the map. I'm going to ignore the marker and take the barrel to the river.
