    Hello all!

I apologise for the delayed update to this post. As the Yule Festival is now over, you will be unable to access any of the events or additional content related to this in-game. I apologise for any inconvenience that was caused by these issues, and hope that you will be able to enjoy future events that are planned for the game.

If the seasonal content from the Yule Festival is to be made available to players at a later date, this will be shared on our official platforms and via notifications in-game, so please do keep an eye out.

We will now be locking this thread as the Festival has finished. If you encounter any trouble with any future events, please don't hesitate to start a new thread 😊

Well the weekly reset is meant to take place tomorrow so all we can hope is that a hidden hotfix is bundled in with it too. Otherwise Ubisoft will show how much they give a s*it about their player base.

@maddoceric have you completed an arc?

To partake in the festivities, players must have completed at least one narrative arc in England (either Grantebridgescire or Ledecestrescire). The festival will automatically begin when you visit the settlement.

After all the troubles I went through by reverting to previous saved games several times to keep my Yule Festival active as recommended, the game now thinks I have not advanced far enough to unlock the Festival. At power level 362 and after a major turning point in the story... All Yule Festival quests were active when I started playing earlier this evening. Really, things keep getting weirder and weirder. I like the game, but the sheer number and severity of the bugs we have to deal with is astounding.

@hroozenbeek Since I can't edit a post from 44 minutes ago because of a mandatory 10 minute-interval (!?), I will reply to myself: the Yule Festival quests have reappeared for now. But for how long?

@hroozenbeek Question is, are they bug/glitch free versions? Something tells me without a hotfix from Ubisoft...I doubt it.

@Ubi-Viral any chance this issue is being addressed? I did enjoy the festival and hope I can get it back...

@norfie I know... I have reached the point where I am happy with one bug - the one where Eivor is already drunk at the start of a new game session - because it tells me that another bug - the one where the Yule Festival has ended prematurely - has not surfaced (yet). I start to believe that the worst bug is the one in myself for paying full price for an unfinished game. Next time around I will wait for the game to settle down after a few rounds of patches (as I have done with Unity back in the day). The game will then be a lot more fun as well as a lot cheaper.

    @mrk9sp Hey!

We've received reports of players unable to participate in the Yule festival after going offline.

The development team has been made aware of this issue.

In order to address the issue and be able to see the Yule festival again, we would recommend loading a save from before any offline play was started.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

@ubi-viral The problem with that approach, going back to an old save, leads to the same result. So, yes I can go see the festival, but then I must a) never leave the settlement and b) never go offline again. It isn't a fix at all or a work around. It is asking those of us with this problem to simply repeat it again. If there isn't any fix at all then it is what it is...

I only saw the festival once after the update and after that its gone and I never saw it again. even though it said it will last until 7 January.

@ubi-raziel for me it ended because my internet broke down, I played again today and all my saves were from after it broke down so I can’t go to an earlier save.

The Yule festival has disappeared after a few hours and my quiver only holds 5 arrow no matter how much I upgrade it (it is on any armour set just 5 arrows floating on there hip). Also any time I do a missing person contract in east anglia it will not end no matter how far I get away from the bandit camp.

Same. First Eivor was drunk no matter how many days had passed since he was in Ravensthorpe after I did the drunken brawl, only fixable by fast traveling -- now today, I got a notification the Yule festival had ended -- but it's only 12/22/2020, not 1/7/2021. What's going on? I have the PC version.

I'm pretty advanced on the game, but no signs of the Yule festival whatsoever today! What happened?

There's still two weapons left for me to acquire, and the time is ticking!

I'm having the same problem with the Yule Festival disappearing. I was able to do one drunk brawl, built the cattle and bakery, and bought some tattoos. I went to finish a mission in East Anglia and once I finished that story line and returned to the village, the Yule Festival was gone.

I also have the same bug already reported with the quiver/max arrows being reset (I maxed out the quiver too)
