I started to play days ago (7hrs) and this map lights showing up when i do use the crow its bother-me a lot. It take away my imersion with the world, remembering its a game. I want to enjoy the view with Syrin, not to be spoiled where the good stuff are! Why can't i turn off both? On the map and the world. This is good for someone wanting Linear Exploration, but... kills part of the joy for me. (and happens with Eivor to, when i a get really high ground)

Also... on the map, i wish i can turn off most of the stuffs on "Exploration"... and let just key things On, like Harbor, Highpoint, Raid...
Is there a place to ask for this stuff? I just start with the game, finally, but i am seriously considering stop playing and wait for an update. I had a great time with Odyssey, and already loving Valhalla, but linear exploration its not the experience i want with this game.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@renanlindner I completely agree... I'd also like the settings we can select in the map view (such as hiding community photos, etc.) to 'stick' from one session to the next.

I also wish we had more options to turn OFF more on-screen elements. Sure, let anyone who wants to keep them on do so.

But some of us want a more immersive, less cluttered experience by disabling more things that appear on our HUDs.

Ahem . . . like the flashing red rune thing when enemies do an unblockable attack (I hate that thing so much). Just sayin'.

But, yeah, give us more granular HUD/interface options. If we want those colorful light beams shooting up from the ground to be off, then let us turn them off. Give us the options.

@c-pick Yap... this kind of stuff too! I just point out here the big deal for me... there other things like this. Its funny, because Oddyssey did a lot of theses stuff better... Why they dont share the good stuff? The Ubi studios should have this kind of communication...
