AC Valhalla BROKEN on Series X0 Likes/2 Replies/123 ViewsOriginal poster CapricornLegend 2 posts
During patch 1.04 I played AC valhalla on Series X, the game was a mess in terms of performance. The performance mode does not deliver a consistent experience and that should the main focus, BUT NO!. So I unistalled the game and waited for Ubisoft to fix their mess.
Now retuning to the game after the latest patch,
The game is completely broken for me now, I cannot continue with my save files, none of them. As soon as I load a save or press continue, I am met with a black screen, I can hear music playing in the background but its still just a black screen, moments later the game crashes.
After that nonsense I decided I would start a new game. This time it loaded into the game, BUT!!
The very thing I noticed is that all the voice audio is completely gone. Music is playing and can hear some other sound effects, but the voice audio is completely gone. Now I am left to imagine what the characters are saying.
Please fix the MENU CURSOR! On the main menu screen when I move the cursor around it is so jittery.

Hey there CapricornLegend. I am so sorry that you have had this experience with Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Do you own a physical or digital copy of the game? Also, you may have already tried these steps, but please check out our guide here just in case. In addition, the Game team is actively looking into these issues with save game progress being lost and audio as well. Since starting a new game, have you experienced any save game issues?
In regards to the voice audio missing, is it missing just from cutscenes, or from the entire game? While we look into this, you could enable subtitles for the meantime, if you have not already. Then, for the menu cursor being jittery, could you provide a video showing this? If so, just post it to YouTube as unlisted and then send me the link. Thanks!
