    i was skeptical at the beginning thinking that this game was better then odyssey, but now that i have 100 hours playing this game, i noticed how boring it its, not only it has lack of content, there is like 10 obtanaible armours through base game, that has the same boring looking design... i admit that storywise and also the map is better then odyssey, but gameplay is worst, the variety of content this game has is also worst them odyssey, when this game comes out, there were already like 4 gears in helix shop.... gears that were already in the base game, but locked to sell them as a premium pack, there are like 9 gears in helix shop, to 10 in base game... seriously this game was made to milk their brainwashed customers... rather then fixing the bugs, the devs are focusing in releasing new helix product with a badly made boring event (yule festival) that gives not exciting rewards, only a reskinned armours of the hunstman.. with massive bugs, that make the game unplayable, and ofcourse more helix shop gears....
    for people who thinks is okay because "they have to paid, workers, investors and all that nonsense" all of you are wrong, this game is not free, it cost $60, or $70 depends where u live... the game has already got its investment back, every sell that ubisoft has for this game right now has been only gains for them... yeep, they cant bring us, one handed sword, more original looking gears obtainable through gameplay, and most important out of all, make the game playable... now we are expecting a new dlc updated, that obviously will comes with a lot more MORE bugs.. then this yule festival fiasco...

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    @karloz1995 not forgetting that also, the "parkour" mechanics arent smooth, when climbing buildings it feels very slow, and when doing parkour, the character get stuck, cant move at some points, i have mixed feeling with the combat system, i dont dislike it, but also is not impressive, is not a stepforward compared to odyssey like they promise it was going to be...

    @nerdlor yes, why would u make a dissapointment treat when u has only play 10 or less hours in the game? in order to have a very big review of the game, at least dare to finish the game before making any kind of critizes of it, the problem is when u finish the game, there is basically nothing else to do... is boring, not rewarding and also unplayable in the state it is

    "the problem is when u finish the game, there is basically nothing else to do"

    That's basically the definition of finishing. And, personally, I'm ready to be done with the game (at least until the DLCs) after putting in ~130 hours into it. That's longer than I normally want to spend on a game.

    My only real complaint is that the three special legendary weapons come so late in the game (or after the end of the game) that you don't have enough time to really play around with them - although I guess that's what I'll do in the DLCs.

    The bugs are getting out of hand and Ubisoft is sitting back idle. Should of been some hot fixes or at least a major patch by now.

    @chuckkatse aparently they are working on another upcoming AC game, for this year.... sadly

    @karloz1995

    Actually, RPGs are some of my favorite kinds of games to play. Many of the best have no post-game content, although certainly many others do. But I enjoy finishing a game so I can move on to another game, as the number of games I want to play will always exceed the time I have to actually play games.

    I don't mind the idea of new content - I'm certainly planning to come back to Valhalla when the DLCs come, if I can pull myself away from Nioh 2 that is - but I don't think postgame content is a prerequisite for a good game.

    I have sunk more than 200 hours into the game. Personally I enjoyed the story (particularly the way they handled Norse mythologies and First Civilisation) and gameplay a lot (when I say this, I have finished all AC main titles). Each game has their strengths and weaknesses but none of them are really "bad". If Valhalla has anything to improve it is the bugs and glitches.

    To each their own I guess.

    I generally am okay with whatever the game presents, instead of complaining "the game should be designed in MY way".

    @imaginaryruins well man, im struggling playing this game because of the many bugs it has, but what does they do rather then fixing the game? they add a new armours in the helix shop... and next week is going to be another armour the one that looks like sauron, but still bugs not being fixed... is not about "the game should be designed in my way" i loved the story of valhalla, and the map design, is the best from recent AC games.. but valhalla lack of content variety, and the many bugs it has is annoying, and like i say, if you love the game the way it is right now, how does affect you that people are asking for more content? like the game cost $60 dollars, but an armours in the helix shop cost betwen 10 to 20 bucks each one... like seriously.. how does someone feels okay with stuff like that

    @karloz1995 don't forget the fenrir bug where you can't complete the asgard storyline, but hey it's snowing back at the camp

    thats the most stupid thing ever, its only snowing in the settlement and just outside of it its full on summer.

    Thats just the most unrealistic thing ever. When didnt they implemented seasons in valhalla: winter, spring, summer and fall, that way the yule festival would be more realistic, no?

    @asgardian02
    My personal moment was getting back to the settlement in the Yule Festival and having Gunnar want his wedding.
    Well I had nothing else to do at that point so why not?
    So we ended up with the entire game world in that part of the country in what seems to be early autumn (judging by tree colour).
    My little settlement in deepest winter
    and Gunnar wedding area decked out like spring with spring flowers surrounding the wedding arch etc.

    The continuity in this game is well umm different, to say the least.

    "Hours played: 230 on PS4"

    I have to say Valhalla is nice to look at but he more I play the more I get frustrated. Since a few days, the character Eivor is constantly repeating three sentences over and over. No matter where I am in England, he says it over and over. He says, "I don't like Wolfs either" or "I am glad I came by when I did" . when I go back to Norway, he stops saying this but the moment I go back to England he says it again over and over.
    Annoying as FU**
