I don't see any mention on the forum of a situation like this. The NPC is there. I just cannot move these two crates.

(Excuse me for not having an actual screenshot, it wouldn't upload for some reason, moreover, this picture been through resize-hell to make it work on the site)

    undefined

The first one that is to the far right just outside of the frame, that one also spawned above some jars, did land on the ground and I was able to move it back on the track by throwing a body against it.

Inside within the picture, these two crates are hovering in the air. Now for the 1x1 one, it does look like its on the floor but if you look closely it stands right on the corner of the trackside. This crate does not budge whatsoever.

The 2x1 crate is somewhat moveable with bodies but is not able to be moved around well enough.

I'm aware of problems with my quest and I've seen plenty of threads and videos about it. But none have matched my situation before. And yes, I have tried leaving the animus.

I'd like to know if there is any workaround to this. I have finished everything else in the game so loading an older save is not an option for me.

I'd love to hear from you guys. Thank you.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@molemanski this quest is bugged as hell, too many problems with it, first no NPC spawning, second thing you cannot move the shelves, and if you move them, they get stuck and cannot be moved again.

the only thing i can think of is to burn the house to the ground, might be invisible jars that will get destroyed when you do so, i hit all bugs you can think of with this quest, only workaround i found is to load a previous save and retry it until it got through, if you dont have a previous save with close or similar progress to your current save then unfortunately you need to wait for a fix.

Leave the animus and re-enter it, solved almost all of my bugs

    From my post:

And yes, I have tried leaving the animus.

    But thanks for thinking along

This is one of the most anyoing bugs in the game at the moment. I have tried everything and now found a workarround to the issue. Here is a little map that shows the final position of the boxes.

It is essential that they remain in their original rails and end up in their final positions.

The box marked with a red X is a room where boxes can end up, if they do you are screwed and have to use quick saves and reloads to try to move them back into their original rails. You can do so via luck and throwing bodies at the boxes when they hover on vases. It may be challenging if they are on a wrong rail.

In general use the quicksave and load function to get the boxes set anew.

    • Use bodies, arrows to move the boxes in their right rail.
    • Make sure the rails are not stuck by objects (vases or small crates)
    • Push the boxes into the positions mentioned in the image

If the guy has not spawned for you do one of this:

    • Quicksave and reload
    • Leave animus and come back

Tell me if this worked out for you

@pg-iceman hi, thank you for your thoughtful response.

Unfortunately, the 1x1 is immoveable for me no matter what i try. Therefore i cannot move it in the desired position
