Is its just me or is this some weird pattern?

1st the tattoo artists died, and gets replaced by a female one.
Then the blacksmiths is for no reason replaced by a woman, someone from Africa which seems pretty weird within that time frame. Its the only dark person i have seen after having played 120+ hours aside from reda.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@asgardian02 Where did you find out the tattoo artist fies?

The blacksmith is replaced because he goes on a quest. He comes back once you finish the quest.

Well from a realistic point of view it was usually men that died in war. Despite what the game and tv shows tell ya there was not many women warrior vikings. Women have always filled to void from testosterone's nonsense throughout history.

The Norse were a huge trading culture as well as going 'Viking' and raiding.
As traders they had covered most of northern, central, and eastern Europe using the rivers, as longboats could navigate quite shallow rivers. It's a certainty that at least some had explored and done trading with North Africa. They were in Constantinople (Istanbul) as mercenaries for the Eastern Roman Empire, had connections through that to the Silk Road which is where our General Store lady has entered the game. Southern Spain was almost completely Islamic (Al-Andalus) at that point, a culture which kept slaves from all over the known world - including Africa. Also remember that Roman Auxillary regiments recruited from every culture and often when the term of service was up these people stayed, had homes, businesses, wives and children. Although its some time after the Romans left please don't assume the British Isles were all one genetically homogenous people, even the Saxons were invaders.
Having people of African extraction in the game is not really surprising, they almost certainly were present in real life in Northern Europe albeit most likely not in huge numbers.
