I'm not bringing up a new topic, I just wanted to resurface the issue and find out what is happening with the music. As many other players have discussed, the music is not present during the game. It played briefly upon arriving at the first settlement, but now all music remains absent. I've plugged 10 hours into finding all 100% of lower Norway and not once during any encounter or simple exploration did the soundtrack play. I'm loving the game but as I was playing I realized the soundtrack was lacking. I though it was intentional, but after 10 hours and some story progress there is no way this is intentional. Also, in no way will I play until it is fixed. Jesper Kyd's soundtracks are amazing and I refuse to go any further without it, Please, Ubisoft, can you explain to us what is going on? And for the record, I'm playing on the Series X with a LGCX 4K TV along with brand new Sonos equipment. All my settings are at "performance" and my music frequency is set to "high." Thank you.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I feel your pain. From what I've measured in the "high frequency" the soundtrack plays every 5 minutes roughly of in game exploration. This can be interrupted however by events and missions etc then that 5 minute break starts again..... So you could go hours without hearing music theoretically if you are engage in missions and events often.

It's an absolutely terrible design choice frankly.

It's strange that you have heard no music at all though. Could be a bug but there have been huge complaints by many about how the soundtrack barely plays during exploration
