I'm facing a glitch that is preventing me continuing the story on the Bloody Path to Peace quest. When I go to find Ceolbert, I'm being transported inside of the cave before fighting the wolves.

When playing I walk into the cave, Eivor comments on the blood and the camera swoops into the wall (which are white, then load their textures) before showing a bloody patch and then loading the cave with the body. I can't progress because the moveable rock, is pushed up against the wall and when I try to make Eivor climb, she gets stranded in mid-air and then dies. I can hear the wolves outside, so something has caused the game to skip this encounter.

I have a manual save from before going in, so I'm able to escape that way since all my autosaves are now from within the cave. However, this means I can't continue to the story, as I get the same error each time.

    I also can't update the game due to a PS5 error I'm receiving - error ce-34878-0.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I was able to find a workaround.

Fast traveled out of cave, came back to the cave and was able to enter as normal. Had to fight the wolves but got Ceolbert out in the end.
