After having played well over 190 hours i am getting pretty annoyed by the super slow finsher moves which are the same over and over.
It really brakes the flow of combat and sometimes you cant even evade an incoming attack afterwards.
In odyssey at least we have different finishing moves based upon the weapon we wielded, here however they are the same based on enemy type.
Anyway i would really like such a feature.
Spear dudes get impaled,
fat guys get choked with their flails
fast moving guys get a knife in the head
Then u have chopping off head with an axe of some curved knife
Lastly a knife into the chest.
Just the same over and over
Speeding the animations up would be fine too.

I'd give you 20 likes for that if I could, definitely been a thorn in my side through the entire game. nothing worse than having some great combat only to have it halted by yet another finisher...truly annoying
At this point a finisher on a heavy elite takes longer then killing an entire squad of 5 guys.
Pretty please make this happen, its becoming really annoying.
A final stab with the spear through the hard is more then enough for me.
Chopping off a head with the harpoon is fine as that is just one move and then on to the next.

The finisher on a wolf is soooooo dumb and not needed, just remove it for crying out loud.

I like them but would prefer it to be only for bosses, not elites. Maybe when it's the final guy and your about to go out of combat it does it, if that's possible.
You got my vote on a toggle for finishers. Maybe make it a toggle where it as a few stages. Off, 20% of the time, 50% of the time and on.
Been doing tungstun farms lately couple with iron ore and ingots, its the most rewarding endgame as this way you get decent rewards from killing a bunch of elites.
Gives runes and some xp and you can loop these activities as once a patrol dies it wioll pop somewhere else anew.
However with every patrol there is a 1 or 2 big guys and watching the same finishing moves over and over is so boring. I have a build based on dodge and slowing time and increasing stats in the same process.
However all the increased stats and effects are gone by the time the finisher is done. Its really takes you out of the flow of everything.
Doesnt always work, but with a well time dodge just before u kill a guy u can seem to evade the finisher mode.
he will just thrust his spear in someones gut and move on, whenever that happens it feels great as it keeps the combat flowing.

@asgardian02 Ya I will hit up those patrols too. Solid all around farm.
I agree the finishing moves need to go or speed up to look like normal combat. Sometimes the only reason I get hit is during a finishing move a guy gets close and starts an attack while in mid finish move. I have tried dodging or attacking to avoid the attack but they often land. Just dumb.
if you need leather there is a good spot with over 30boars just below winchestre. While doing the patrols make sure to farm iron ore as well.
Never can hurt to be ready for new content.
@ the cistern tower in Suthexe are often 2-3 patrols that carry nickel ingots if you still need those.
