i guess I Just came here to [censored] and moan but to also be honest with myself for once. Ubisoft is a terrible gaming company and doesn’t catch enough heat for it. Broken game after broke game, over and over again. I was really looking forward to AC Valhalla because I enjoyed odyssey so much but this bug riddled mess of a game has finally put in perspective for me that Ubisoft just doesn’t care. They’ll take your money for a broken game and offer no solutions for months and when updates finally do come they hardly fix anything. It’s infuriating at this point. Do yourselves a huge favor and just stop spending money on anything with Ubisoft’s name on it.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Their stuff just doesn't work. I've seen Monopoly Plus break so many times for no reason, even if not online. UNO just doesn't wanna connect online, even though I can connect with literally any other game. The possible solution just sounds overly complicated, and I shouldn't have to do that to play a game online with someone when no other games force me to jump through these hoops. It's a mess.

    They are also criminals.

They sold Helix items for real money with advertised stats/slots and because they thought it "wasn't balanced" they went ahead and changed the items WE PURCHASED.

They sold us a perpetual license to the DLC/Armor set.

A perpetual software license is a type of software license that authorizes an individual to use a program indefinitely. Generally, outside of termination, a perpetual software license allows the holder to use a specific version of a given software program continually with payment of a single fee.

With perpetual software licensing, a customer pays an upfront charge for the software license as well as a limited supplemental support period during which additional benefits are included. After the support period ends, the customer has the option of continuing to use the current version of the software without additional support or paying a lower-cost fee to resubscribe for support and upgrades.

A perpetual license is a good and a product, and whenever a perpetual license is sold it undergoes transfer of ownership upon the point of sale. Whoever owns a perpetual license owns the instance of software it grants a right to use the intellectual property (IP) of. After the transfer of ownership of a perpetual licensed software, the seller of the license no longer holds any rightful say over anything regarding that non-reproduceable instance of software represented by its perpetual license. This legal fact is not always honoured by perpetual license software sellers and it can take lawsuits to force software companies to comply with their legal and moral obligations and to respect the property of others and not violate that property, including software, system, and data property.

    TL;DR

You own what you paid for, and Ubisoft changing it without our permission was illegal. Nothing will happen because we would have to take them to court. Never support Ubisoft digitally.
