    Hi there guys,

So I've been growing increasingly annoyed at the fact my stats and challenges haven't been updating since close to forever.
Core Challenges not updating have been reported multiple times already, and I thought the latest update was supposed to have fixed that ( apparently, not ) - but I'd like to expand on that by stating that STATS also do not update, neither do time limited challenges ( which is a bummer ).
Despite having picked clean half of England map, it still claims I completed 12% of the story, have played 29h, and am power level 64 ( I'm 180 by now ). According to the challenges I never did any offering altars or cairns, have beaten no zealots, and killed only 1 Sister. I'm not sure how far that throws me back, maybe before 1.0.4 and the Yule festival.
Time limited challenges do not register my heavy shield kills ( bummer, that was actually my main weapon through most of the game ), or the drinking games won.

However, achievements are fine, all the relevant ones having all been unlocked when title update 1.1 was released.

    I've also been wondering :
Title update 1.0.4 claimed that it "Added a new background image to the title screen." I'm pretty sure I never saw anything different as I still have the Fjord background from the very time I ran the game. Even during the Yule festival, in case it was specifically related to that event ?
It was also supposed to have "Addressed an issue where an Online Service Error could occur temporarily when looking at photos on the world map." I still get that. All the time!
This too : "NPCs will now react to the player stealing...so think twice before stealing!" : I have no idea what it's refering too. I never saw anything related to stealing in Valhalla, while it was all over the place in Odyssey.

Additionnally, similar to a few other people, Tove is unresponsive after Svend's death. Poor girl doesn't seem to be getting over the grief of the loss. As a result, I can't customize the tatoos and hairstyles anymore. Sad!
And last but not least, I have the distinct feeling I'm getting more crashes than before since 1.1 . Not an hour ago, I even got a full computer restart just after exiting the world map 😕

I'm not sure what's wrong, some of the claimed fixes from the updates are clearly here, but a lot aren't. Core challenges not updating is annoying, but limited time challenges not updating feels like a loss due to the temporary nature of them.

Ah, and please note I'm playing on PC, by the way !

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
