Ubisoft, when are you releasing a patch to fix the HDR problems for all platforms.
I am running mine with RTX3080, 4790K@4.8Ghz, 16GB RAM, and an OLED CX TV. TV HDMI is set on PC MODE to allow 4:4:4 and 120hz. HDR GAME MODE is on HGIG, DTM is making everything too bright, it is basically the TVs processing which is not recommended in any HDR scene, so I use HGIG which is the way to go. But when using HDR in the game (Valhalla), it is pretty dark, dull, and washout out. I am not activating the Windows HDR to ON due to that the game itself does this. Did try to activate HDR in windows settings as well but the results are the same.

Did try Nvidia settings: 32-bit, RGB, FULL & LIMITED, 10-bit, 8-bit, still doesn't work.
To get some clarity one needs to increase the exposure in-game hdr calibration screen to over 1.5 in order to be able to see everything properly. This is NOT NORMAL!

WD: Legion doesn't have this problem. Odyssey doesn't have this problem, Immortals Phoenix Rising doesn't have this problem. It has been reported that this is the same issue on all platforms, XBOX S/X, PS4,PS5, STADIA, still the same issue. How is this not investigated for and put on the fix list? You released a patch for performance and a lot of bug fixes, but none of them wore about HDR dullness or extreme brightness problem. The HDR slider is totally broken. A lot of youtube videos can confirm this. This is ruining the experience and making people not enjoy the game in HDR as it supposed to, SDR is working much better, but still there is something wrong there as well. Please fix this ASAP!!!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
