So low key, I've had an issue since I started where when I hit sprint, Eivor would sometimes stutter in his movement and start, then stop, raising his bow over and over. It wasn't TOO bad and I figured it was just bad design.

Starting a week or so ago, it stopped being a stutter and a straight sprint denial with bow drawn. I'd have to try again and again to get him to put his bow away and run.

Looked it up, saw others complain and say the only fix they found was starting again. 110 hours in, that wasn't happening.

Tried to ignore it, after all. Some said he'd then stick with his bow out, sometimes in combat, getting Eivor killed. I didn't have that.

Except then I did. And if I was trying to run across a rope, I couldn't move at all. (Most annoying tattoo chase ever.)

I finally figured out what's happening due to the map. The L2 button is sticking. So bad sometimes it goes into the menu and zooms the map out, preventing zoom.

So for some reason, the L3 button is triggering the L2 button, and causing it to stick. Sometimes infinitely worse than others.

As this isn't on the known bug list and I didn't see anyone else mentioning it, I wanted to bring it up. It's infuriating to an extreme, and it sure would be nice to see it addressed.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
