I am experiencing the same issues 😕 on PS4. I am already pledged to this last region.

    These didn't work:

    • Reinstalling the game
    • Going to Norway or Vinland
    • Killing Civilians
    • Get Killed by Enemies.
    • Stepping out of the Animus.
    • Changing Genders

Right now I have 190 hours of gamplay and I have done all the collectables and missions. It is just this last part.

I have just been doing Reda's Contracts just to keep me entertained. I hope this gets fixed soon

It's finally working for me now. The update seems to have fixed the bug. At least for me.

It's been fun guys! I'll remember you all in therapy!

I'll see you all next month when we all can't finish the last quest in Wrath of the Druids.

    Hello there!

Thanks you for continuing to update this thread. I'm glad to hear that some of you have been able to proceed with "Kingdom's End" following TU 1.2.1. I've checked in with the development team regarding the investigation, and it looks like this issue should have been resolved in TU 1.2.1. I apologise for not being able to provide this information sooner.

I've noticed that a number of you have also tried a workaround suggested within this thread successfully. I'd like to share this workaround again, so players who are still affected by this issue can give it a try:

Hi everyone, i had the same problem in Kingdoms End quest but i just now figured it out. Kill some civilian people in Warden, become desynchronized, reload last save and quest should be started.

If you have tried this workaround, and you're still unable to proceed with "Kingdom's End" after pledging to Hamtunscire, please can you send us a video that shows the following:

    • You have TU 1.2.1 installed on your platform. You can check this in the bottom-right corner in the main menu screen.
    • You're still unable to progress with "Kingdom's End." Please show us your current and completed quest log in the video, as well as what happens when you pledge to Hamtunscire from the alliance map.

@blackbat227, @flick-_, @LyricalMango & @desireehackett - I'm glad to hear that the issue has been resolved for you! Thanks for letting us know that the workaround helped some of you to progress further!

@ShadowSigj, @guest-8gngtduF & @Endyspeed - I'm sorry to hear that the issue still persists. Would you be able to provide us with a video showing the information requested above? We can then pass this along to the development team for a closer look.

    Thanks! 😊

    Sup @Ubi-Borealis,

It is still bugged for me I was already pledge to this region before hand. I did the workaround of killing Civilians and all that happens is there are dead bodies everywhere, both enemies and allies each reload. I am on version 1.2.1

I can't attach Picture or Videos it gives me the Previlage error. I hope you can help out.

    Many Thanks

    Hello there @ShadowSigj!

I'm sorry to hear the issue with "Kingdom's End" still persists for you. You may not be able to directly upload images/videos into a forum post. If possible, could you upload these to a sharing platform (such as YouTube or Google Drive) and send an unlisted link? We can then pass on any images/videos you have to the development team for further investigation.

    Thanks! 🙂

Thanks for the video, @ShadowSigj! I've passed this along to the development team so they can investigate further.

If anyone else is still unable to proceed in "Kingdom's End" following TU 1.2.1, please don't hesitate to reach out to us within this thread 😊

I do not understand these requirements. This is really not for the customer approach. The game stores game profiles in the cloud on your servers. If you need proof, take a look at my game profile and you will find in the attributes that I do not have a quest generated.

    This approach just shows laziness.

Or let your developers test it. They will have to anyway. I don't know what a video on youtube will help them with?

Why should we waste time (for the game we paid for and wait for months to fix) recording the evidence in the console, sending it to the PC, and uploading/sending it to your support?

    Do your job.

    Hello there @Endyspeed!

Collecting video data from players is an important part of the developer's investigation. You can read more about the internal development processes, and what steps are included in an investigation, in this Dev Blog. As mentioned in 02. Reproduction:

We’re not always able to reproduce an issue on our side. When this happens, we may provide a partial solution if available or ask for more information. The more information you can provide when reporting a bug, the better. (Detailed bug descriptions, videos/screenshots, and game saves are generally what we’re looking for.)

As this issue should have been resolved in TU 1.2.1, the development team would like to collect videos and save files from affected players. As the development team tested the fix on this game version and believed the issue to be resolved, videos are particularly useful to show that it can still be reproduced. If you have an up-to-date save uploaded to the cloud, they should be able to access this for investigation. We would appreciate it if you took the time to record a video as well, as this is helpful for the reopened investigation.

    Thanks! 🙂

I have the same problem, playing on PS4.
Map doesn´t show a quest icon and if I travel to Werham the quest does not start.

    • Tried killing People
    • leave the animus and get back in
    • etc.

Hello there @BMPFG! Welcome to the forums 🙂

I'm sorry to hear you're still unable to progress in "Kingdom's End." Thanks for letting me know more about the steps you've tried to resolve this.

Can you please provide a video that shows the following:

    • You have TU 1.2.1 installed on your platform. You can check this in the bottom-right corner in the main menu screen.
    • You're still unable to progress with "Kingdom's End." Please show us your current and completed quest log in the video, as well as what happens when you pledge to Hamtunscire from the alliance map.

Additionally, please ensure you have an up-to-date save uploaded to the cloud. You can check by looking for the cloud icon on the desired save file.

We can then pass this to the development team for further investigation.

    Thanks! 😊

Hi everyone and @Ubi-Borealis, the issue has fixed for me by re-loading my last save before Kingdom's End. Luckily my save was an Exclusive Quest Save in Ravens Thorpe but it has loaded just after I have pledged to Hamtunshire and the quest is showing in my quest log. I've lost about 5hrs of gameplay while I was trying to level up, which is annoying but seems some people have lost far more!

Previously the quest was showing in my quest log and overlayed on the map, but then when I came off the map to normal gameplay the quest wasn't showing in the top right corner. When I reached Wareham, Soma was there and I could have a conversation with her but the quest didn't trigger.

Before reloading a previous save, I tried the following workarounds but none of them worked:

    • Killing civilians in Werham (you can find lots of civilians in the wheat grass behind houses and working on the stalls behind soldiers)
    • Exiting the animus and re-entering
    • Fast travelling to another location, untracking and retracking the quest, and then travelling to Werham by horse to try to trigger the quest on entry

These were all tried after the latest patch 1.2.1.

I hope you can fix the issue soon for everyone else that has more hours of gameplay and I hope this helps your investigation!

Hi, let me tell you how I fixed Kingdom's End (missing quest marker, quest not triggering when you enter Werham).

I first went to Werham where everyone was passive, I looted the place and travelled back to Ravensthorpe. I tried desynchronizing (didn't work). I didn't have a recent save and I had done way too much between pledging Hamtunscrire and finally getting around to the quest so I did NOT want to go that far back.

So as a last-ditch effort, I went to the quest log and selected one of the River Raid quests so it showed as the active one.

I did a river raid, came back, went back to the quest log and selected Kingdom's End. Opened the map, and this time I had the quest marker.

I don't know if this helps either, but instead of using the fast travel inside of Werham, I travelled to Winchester instead and rode to Werham. There is a spot on the road along the way where Eivor talks to themself about the quest, and then once you get to the gate, you will see Soma.

So try this: Make another quest active, do that quest, then select Kingdom's End quest again, check your map. If the quest marker is back, ride into town (don't fast travel). Hope this helps someone ❤
