I never get the button prompt to blend in while approaching a group of monks. Reloading the save or restarting the game does not fix the problem.

I get the feeling that Ubisoft rushed the release of this game. So many bugs and technical issues that it's just ridiculous. Never had problems like this with Origins and Odyssey. What a shame. This game has the potential to be the best one of the Layla Hassan story arc but in its current state the game falls short of that. I seriously hope the patches will make it better.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Doesnt anyone know how to solve this? This is literally a minor game breaking bug as it prevents me from getting the "Not the Norse you're looking for" achievement and also prevents me from entering certain areas stealthily. It really sucks that I have to to aggressively kill guards in combat just to get to certain areas in distrust zones.

The damn monks just stand in a single place like idiots and I never get the promp to blend in with them.

I tried restarting the game, fast traveling to a different area and then fast travelling back, loading an earlier save file and verifying the game files. But none of these things worked.

I figured it out now. I killed some guards in open combat right in front of the monks to scare them away. When they regroup the monks are suddenly walking normally and the "press e to blend" finally appears. Still, the monks are obviously bugged. It's not right that I have to fight some guards just to make blending work.
