I'm having trouble finishing the world event "Miracle" in Sciropescire. I started the event at the top of the stream, managed to pick up the man with one leg and carry him to the top. However once there I got the "you need to be anonymous" bug. I then restarted the game, and reloaded, and was able to progress past this part, dropping him off at the top of the stream.
However then I go the second guy. The blind man dialogue ended but then he didn't follow me and was still repeating the same lines as before I spoke to him again and again.
I've tried fast travelling away and coming back. I've tried reloading the game completely fresh, and I've even went and finished Cent, and Vinland areas since this bug happened. But each time I go back I'm still unable to finish the quest as the first guy is still in the stream at the top, and the second is not letting me have any further dialogue.
My platform is Xbox Series X.
Thanks,
Stephen -
I talk to the blind man and he says lead me to the spring but then just stays where he is yelling the same dialogue before you speak to hi.

I'm also getting this bug. Can't complete the quest and I'm not 50 hours into the game so really don't feel like restarting to get the completionist achievement...

Same problem here, just different order of the guys. I lead the blind man to the spring, but got the "you need to be anonymous" bug and upon reloading was able to complete the blind man section. With the lame guy however, I could talk to him but no prompt to carry him shows up. I guess we need to wait for ubi fix for this one.
-
also an additional note: it looks like the first guy I dropped in the stream is now dead

having the same issue. lead the blind man up the hill, must be anonymous bug, save and reload, i could speak to the lame man once but then i couldnt pick him up. im also on xbox

Same problem, even reloaded an old save and exactly the same happened I'm on Ps4
-
Hey guys, sorry to hear this! Does fast travelling out and then into the area help. or reloading a previous save?
Official Response -
Clee hill spring, unable to talk to blind man to continue quest, had "you need to be anonymous" message when dropping the lame man in the spring and reloaded, unable to progress

Yeh I have just come across the same bug, I did a reload but didnt work either

Hello,
Same bug here. (PC)
He tells me to walk loudly. But doesn't follow.
Tried fast travelling away and coming back > same issue
Tried reloading a save from before I even brought the first guy with one leg in > same issue
This is frustrating -
@griffen346 I've had the same issue. Tried other fixes including fast travelling to another point, but the message keeps coming up in the middle of my screen "you must be anonymous"

I didn't find the spring first. I found the blind man first, took him to the spring, found the lame man, but can't carry him. Was I supposed to go to the spring first? Like [censored] Ubisoft, why is this game so buggy. So much [censored] is buggy and glitchy.
-
@nedetrebor I have this exact same issue as well. Encountered the blind man first, led him to the spring, and I don't have the option to pick up the lame man.

After today's update, I went back to the mystery quest on both saves and both are still bugged, Seems people can't pick up the lame man or talk to the blind man, it's different but it's the same quest that's bugged, I'm hoping for a reset option on these mystery quests or at least a fix so people can continue on

Logged in today to title update 1.0.4 to see if it was fixed. It's still an issue. Any update? It's still not even on the "known issues" list even though a few people have posted about it...
I've stopped playing the game until it's fixed now because I'm about 60 hours in and don't want to start a new save to get my 100% achievement. -
Still happening to me on 1.0.4 patch. Still not listed in "Known issues" either. What's the deal?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
