You are not the brightest company if you want players to use the store yet provide no repeatable content to play that might encourage them to use said store.
Its crystal clear everyone wants 1 handed swords considering every soldier in the game has one, maybe lock them behind the store so you [censored] more of your player base off.
Also just overprice the digital items that are worthless, other than in Assassins Creed, so very few people buy them then waste more Dev time creating more stuff.....
Its a pathetic vicious circle of greed.

"so very few people buy them"
You really have no idea what you're talking about. In the fiscal year of 2020, Ubi earned almost 637 million dollars on microtransactions, an increase of 9% compared to the year before.
Here's a chart of their incomes:
And that's actually not much at all, compared to what other companies earns. For example: Activision Blizzard made 1.2 BILLION dollars on them in only THREE MONTHS.
Everyone hates microtransactions, but since almost everyone is spending money on them, they're not going away.

@brucehillracing The game is designed to encourage people to use the Helix store at the beginning of the game. The game is reasonably hard at the beginning and also at the beginning, people don't know what they are doing yet. Upgrading stuff is a pain, and people will be dying due to having only 1 ration. That will make them buy armours and resources from the store. Also, lots of gamers simply do not have the time to grind resources (not everyone lost their job to covid yet), and that will drive them to use the store.
