where the hell are the 1-h swords? I know Vikings are known for their axes but they weren't relegated to them... a clan leader like Elvor would have had access to a sword, hell after a raid there are plenty laying around.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

One other thing.... IDK if the dev's are aware of this but Vikings were able to ride their horse and swing their weapon at the same time. They didn't have to just kick while riding

Maybe it is too hard to implement animations for those swords like Ubisoft said in Unity with female assassins...

It isn't so that they could just take the animations from Origins or Odyssey...

And it also isn't so that Ubisoft always reuses assets from past games to death, instead of making every game fresh and new... (for instance texstures, 3D models, roman architecture, animations, UI and so on...).
