I experience AC:V crashing every time I try to play it. It typically happens after 20-30 minutes. In my experience this has been getting worse the more I progress in the game, as I had no crashes whatsoever during my first ~10 hours of playing the game, it then started crashing rarely, and now it crashes every single time. It's becoming frustrating as it crashes in the middle of clearing an outpost or mid-mission.
Specs:
Windows 10 Pro
Intel i7-8700k

Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080ti
No overclocking
After a crash, I get 3 events in my Windows Event Viewer:

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I get the same issue with only slightly lower specs. I only started seeing the crashes consistently around 50hrs of gameplay, I wonder if this has something to do with an update. I will play for 3-4 hours at a time and experience a crash every hour or so of gameplay.
As compounding data, these are my specs,
Windows 10 Home
Intel i7-6700 (3.4Ghz)
32GB RAM
Nvidia Geforce GTX 1080
Also no overclocking.
I will add my own event logs next time I play, I have been on a hiatus out of frustration due to other game breaking issues I'm experiencing..
@ik3los Join the club. I had to put this game on hold due to the incessant crashing. It was fine on release but one of the updates clearly broke it and until/unless this issue is announced as fixed I won't/can't play.
Same issue here: Since Update 1.1.2 constant crashes (max. 10 mins. gameplay, then crash)
PC:
Win10 Pro
Ryzen 3800XT
32GB RAM
Nvidia RTX 3070
No overclocking
@ik3los Hey! Sorry to hear that your game is crashing and thank you for the event viewer.
Can we ask that you check which version of Direct X you are using. You can find how to do this here.
Additionally, have you tried the steps from here?
Thank you for also provide your system specification, I can see that you are within the minimum requirements also.
Hi @Ubi-Viral,
My Direct X version is 12 - and I have indeed tried the steps outlined in your linked troubleshooting guide (to no avail).
@danny__g13 It did not, unfortunately. And I just lost 1.5 hours of progress - again - during a river raid. Getting real tired of this debacle.
