When starting a feast in our settlement we get a cool and short cutscene but what if we had the option for a more interactive, fun, immersive minigame/event.

How about giving players the option to have an actual feast event. When starting a feast you get to chose between just having a cutscene and getting the buffs like we have now or being able to actually control Eivor during the feast. We can have the settlement NPCs singing, dancing, drinking, and eating. It could be just a small event limited to the longhouse giving us the opportunity to interact with the settlement dwellers, having drinking games and maybe even a friendly brawl.

I think it would be an amazing piece of content without requiring a lot of effort to develop. We already have it all coded into the game (drinking contests and no weapons fights). Think of it as a very toned down Yule festival confined to the longhouse. Such a feast would give Ravensthorpe and it's inhabitants so much more life, making the player feel like part of this thriving community.

I've posted this idea on the AC reddit community a few days ago and it got a very positive response. I'm now posting it here in hopes that it could be forwarded to the dev team.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

It is a shame that such a cool(in my opinion obviously) and easy to implement concept got so much attention on Reddit but was pretty much ignored here. I was really hoping this could have been forwarded to the development team for consideration.
