    Hello,

after playing another game i went back to AC Valhalla. I started it in borderless window just as i did before. But now the graphics shown was only a part of the full screen. It is different for me to explain in english but i hope someone gets what i mean. It is like i can only see the left upper quarter of the game.
Also the resolution was on 2k so i switched it back to FHD just like before. The game was running smooth before i played that other game.
Ingame i now have frames of about 20 FPS even though i play on FHD and on high settings just like before. The game is unplayable like this.
My GPU is a GTX 1080.
I installed the tool "Borderless Gaming" so i can see the whole game again.

Is there something off with the resolution? It feels like it runs the game in 4k even though i set it to FHD.
I thought my CPU might be broken, but other games run perfectly smooth.

I would delete and reinstall the game now. Does someone have another idea?
    Thank you in advance.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@karloz1995 That can explain the FPS drops but not the resolution problems.
I wrote a ticket to the support. Let's see if there is any help.

Dude, I have the same issues as you do. The game showed only the one quarter of the screen and the frames will drop to 15 FPS when I take a fast travel in the game. Ubisoft doesn't care about the game any more.

I also opened a support ticket because of this, but they just keep telling me to go through that troubleshooting or perform a clean boot or even some weird SFC-scan. I did everything, deleted the ini, even reinstalled the whole game; idk what to do. And Ubisoft doesn't know either.
