    Hi Folks,

i have a strange Issue and i think this is since Title Update 1.20. When i start my PC and Valhalla i have capped and steady 60FPS with some Dips to 50-55 in big Areas like Lunden, all ok. Here is the Thing, when i close the Game and making other Things on the PC (other games, Video Playback, Surfing) and start Valhalla again the Performance Hit is huge. At this Time the rock solid 60fps are only in the open World outside Citys or Villages. In Citys the drop goes into the 40s. First Start Valhalla and ingame Benchmark has a avg. of 70 fPS, the second Start and a couple of Hours later only avg. 62fps. I think, maybe restarting the Game helps but no, same Issue. Closing all apps and Tools, nope, same Issue. So i decide to restarting the whole PC and than the Issue was completely gone. My other Games don´t have this Issue so it must be Game related. To make things clear, i can play the first Game start for Hours and Hours with no Issues. Any Ideas?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey @yosh2512, sorry for not getting to you sooner. When you have seen a huge dip in performance, have you previously Alt +Tab out of the game or have any other background applications that are running with Assassin's Creed Valhalla? Since restarting your PC, the issue has not shown up anymore, correct? If you seeing this happen again when playing, could you please create a support ticket here with your MSINFO & DxDiag attached so we can take a closer look into this one on one?
